Dear  Friend,         

     We are now entering our sixth year of our softball program. We  grow with each successful year.   This year is no different.  At the beginning of each year we are asked “What are the goals for Woburn Sox Youth Softball?”  Our goals are to continue to build a strong and organized program, but our  #1 goal  to have fun.”  Our players want to learn and play the game of softball while competing in a competitive league.   The purpose of our program is to develop and enhance the girls’ skills at all levels. The purpose of this letter is to help us continue our program, and prevent fund-raising from falling on the kids/players by “canning, car washes, etc.”   They are in the program to learn, play, and grow, not to raise money. 

     With this in mind, we are asking you to potentially sponsor a sign that will be displayed on the outfield fence at our home field at Veterans Park, behind the Senior Center at 144 School St.
